introduction
California based animation Director and Producer, Scott Camera-Smith* built his career in Film and Animation starting with his immersion in the amazing creative culture at Lucasfilm. His work began as a "lowly" Information Technology worker, he worked his way through R&D, camera engineering and finally as an artist in Animation and Visual Effects, absorbing storytelling and film-making from the likes of George Lucas, Stephen Spielberg, Ang Lee and others, Scott exited to start his own production studio with partners from Disney and Lucasfilm. He has been a free-agent Supervisor and Director in animation since 2019 after his studio was acquired in 2017.

I am forever grateful to the Motion Picture and Technology communities for building me up and launching me into rewarding creative leadership. It is there that I discovered the real power of work culture, cohesive work communities, persistent business development and mind-bending storytelling.
